My photo services are in West Virginia statewide. (Although, I have worked in Maryland and Virginia and look forward to new opportunities in other neighboring states as well)!

I lived in North Central WV for a decade before moving BACK to my hometown (which is in central WV) where I opened a photo studio.

I photograph a style that I live everyday, that reflects my roots and who a lot of my clients are… we are country! I love all music but was raised on country music. All Heart of Country photo sessions have access to the client closet - a wonderful boutique collection of attire and accessories!

I married my college sweetheart (15 years ago) and we have 2 toddlers. Tragedy hit my family in 2020 when losing my mother to a short and horrible battle with metastatic breast cancer, she was 52. My firstborn son was 10 months old at the time. I was by her side when she suddenly took her last breath. Seeing the battle firsthand, going through my first pregnancy at the time she was receiving treatments, staying by her side through sleepless nights, hospital stays… and then witnessing the end - well it left deep scars that has forever changed me. One of the first things I did after pulling myself together, was find all the pictures I had of her. Pictures are so important and will be one of the only things we can look back on to help us remember many good times.
